Baby Showers: A baby shower is planned for Sunday noon with a potluck for Dominic Cabildo on Sunday October 12—here at the church.  Also, a baby shower is planned for Saturday morning October 18 at 9:30 at the church for Lisa Modrzejewski.  Both households have their babies registered at Target and Babies ‘R Us.
 
The pastor is in a year-long spiritual guidance course at the Mennonite seminary in Elkhart, Indiana.  The classwork requires him to give free spiritual direction sessions for two people under the supervision of his professor.  Noticing more in prayer and your relationship with God is the emphasis for these spiritual guidance meetings.  Visit with Darrell if you have questions or would like a meeting to determine if such meetings may help you grow in prayer and spiritual discernment.
 
Teresa Johnson (wife of Rod and neighbor to Stogdill & Zook’s) is being prepared for brain surgery.  The Pulaski community is planning a benefit fundraiser for the Johnsons on Saturday, October 25 at the Pulaski Community Center.  Pulaski Mennonite is committed to supply 15 pies for the meal . . . if you are able to prepare pies, see the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board and pick up pie plates at the reading table.  Thanks!
 
The Southeast Iowa Mennonite Ministers Pulpit Exchange is November 2.  Nathan Luitjens, pastor of the Sugar Creek Mennonite Church will be speaking here at PMC while Darrell Zook will be speaking at Zion Mennonite Church of Donnellson.
 
Bike/Walk/Ride from the Bloomfield Square next Sunday at 2:00 in support of the Share-the-Harvest project!  We’ll gather at ‘the bins’ SE of  Bloomfield for a project report and S’mores!
