Sending Blessing November 2 offerings will support the Church General Fund. Pulpit Exchange: On Sunday, November 2, the SE Iowa Mennonite Ministers will participate in a pulpit exchange. Nathan Luitjens, pastor of the Sugar Creek Mennonite Church, Wayland, IA will be speaking at PMC while Darrell Zook will be visiting Zion Mennonite in Donnellson.

Looking Ahead: Thank-you! I felt your prayer support during my recent surgery and am grateful for your care. After further tests, I’m grateful to find I’ll not need chemo. Thank-you again for your prayers. –Carol Baughman A Community Christmas Choir is being organized by Lyle Stirling with a rehearsal today at 4:00 in Bloomfield for a December 14 program. Dinner Theatre: Washington Mennonite Church is hosting a Dinner Theatre entitled "Longing for Light" on October 30, 31 & November 1st at 6:30 each evening at the Crooked Creek Christian Camp Pavilion. Brochures with information may be found on the church bulletin board.50th Anniversary: The Pleasant View Mennonite Church of Mt. Pleasant, IA will celebrate 50 years on Sunday November 9th with a special service at 10:30 and meal and sharing to follow. John Zimmerman is the pastor. Mennonite Disaster Service (MDS) will hold the annual Region III meeting November 14 & 14 at Salem Mennonite Church in Freeman, SD. Program information may be found on the Mission Bulletin Board. Church Pianist: Jen Hopwood will play piano at worship on November 9 as we hope for her to be with us regularly. Jen grew up in Pulaski, is a grand-daughter of Dean Hanna and attended Bible School at PMC. Jen is a music teacher and works with Justin Hill Ministries in Bloomfield. Thank-you for contributions of meat, vegetables, cookies and more for AWANA meals on Wednesdays—the food is appreciated! The 4th Annual Peace Forum at First Mennonite Church in Iowa City on November 16 will focus on immigration issues with Saulo Padillo of Mennonite Central Committee.
