Meat Canner Short Report: More than 12,000 cans of turkey were processed while the Mennonite Central Committee Meat Canner was in Cantril December 21 & 22. Donations from Mennonite, Weaverland Churches, Amish , Holdeman, and others paid for the 22,000 pounds of turkey, cans and canning expenses. Clair Zimmerman reports the canning days ended with a deficit, but in the following week more funds were received so the fund was $800 in the black. Thank-you!
