The Iowa Mennonite Relief Sale is in need of volunteers for parking, welcome centers, breakfast servers, activities barn and book corner.  See  the church bulletin board for the specific phone numbers to call for any of these activities June 1-2 at the Johnson County Fairgrounds in Iowa City.

Child Dedications & Mother’s Day is May 13 with a ‘modified potluck’ meal at noon.  Meat will be provided and households are invited to bring a dish or two for the table—which by the way—will be arranged and served by men & boys of the congregation.  Clean-up too!

Congratulations to Corby Wuthrich upon completion of High School studies!  Baccalaureate Service is at 7:00 on May 13 and Graduation Gathering is May 20.

Vacation Bible School bulletin board is up for volunteer sign-ups for Passport to Peru! Sessions will be Tuesday-Saturday, June 5-9 with Tue-Fri  schedule from 5:30 to 7:30 and Saturday from 4:30 and a family meal at 5:30.  If you have questions about VBS details, contact Nora Knapp.

Thank-you and the wonderful youth & ladies at your church for sewing school bags!  Your efforts have been a great help as we are on track to have 100 school bags to fill with school supplies.  Please tell everyone involved ‘Thank-you’ for me.  –Penny Warren
