CMC Announcements:

Earlier this month one of our REACH teams departed for the country of Albania for their six-month cross-cultural outreach. Just days prior to their arrival, Lezha, the town they were to reside in, experienced a 6.4 magnitude earthquake. Their assignment quickly changed from teaching English to helping those affected by the earthquake. We at Rosedale International are partnering with Virginia Mennonite Missions, who has workers in that location, to aid in the relief efforts.

Another situation we have recently been made aware of is in Turkana, a northwest section of Kenya. Benson Ekuyom, a Kenyan brother who leads Glory Outreach Ministries--a ministry that is becoming an international affiliate of CMC--has informed us of a severe drought the Turkana area is experiencing. Among the badly affected segments of the population are children, pregnant women, lactating mothers, and the elderly due to lack of food with good nutritional value. Timothy Gakunju, one of our board members also from Kenya, is planning a trip to Turkana to assess the situation and help bring relief.

**If you would like to send donations to either of these situations, please see Amy Wuthrich for more information.
