The 2018 Community Choir begins practice Monday evening.  See the practice schedule on the bulletin board and save the date—December 9—for the Community Choir Christmas Concert with lots of your neighbors!

Road to Bethlehem is a live outdoor Nativity on Friday, December 7 and Saturday, December 8 at the First Baptist Church of Farmington.  Visitors will be taken on a 15 minute outdoor tour while experiencing the scenes of the Christmas story and the death and resurrection of Jesus.  If you’d like more information you may contact the church at 319-878-3735.

Offerings Update: The November 25 offerings will support an Iowa effort to package Mennonite Central Committee Relief Kits.  This will replace the MCC Meat Canning Offering as the Canner will not stop in Iowa this year.  A letter with more details is on the bulletin board and Welcome Table.

Joni Eareckson Tada: Suffering Helps Me See Heaven, The Share-the-Harvest umbrella group FRB/Growing Hope Globally Annual Report and Hutterite Heirloom Seeds-A Harvest of Memories are featured articles on the Pastor’s Plank of the Church Bulletin Board.

Name Change: Growing Hope Globally is the new name for The Davis County Share-the-Harvest parent group—formerly known as Foods Resource Bank.  Chris Payne now serves as the local secretary of Share-the-Harvest and Keith Amstutz is the treasurer.
