The Annual Sign-Up Season is here! The Bulletin Board has sign-up sheets for 2019 Greeters, Readers, Funeral Committee, Kitchen Committee, Children’s Story and more.  Your time and service is appreciated!

A ‘Building Use Calendar’ is becoming more helpful as there are activities beyond regular church programs. Piano lessons, family gatherings and blood drives are examples of extra activities.  Writing in your event makes a reservation—remembering funerals and other church activities have priority.

What Does Dying—and Mourning—Look Like in a Secular Age, The Most Wonderfully Painful Time of the Year and The Top Bible Verses of 2018 Don’t Come From Jesus or Paul are featured items on The Pastor’s Plank of the Church Bulletin Board.

In honor of 2019 being the 40th anniversary of the Iowa Mennonite Relief Sale, the $40.00 for 40 Campaign is underway.  We are looking for 1,000 people to raise $40.00 in honor of 40 years.  Donations may be sent to PO Box 234, Kalona, IA 52247 or online at
