A Women’s Class and The Wired Word
are the featured classes for adults in the Fall Sunday School Quarter beginning September 6.  This brings a call for the men to step up for teaching the children and youth classes so that ladies who have been regularly teaching may be students in the adult class.  See the sign-up sheet on the church bulletin board for class lists for children and youth.  Thanks!

Thanks to Bible School volunteers, parents and kids!  We’ve enjoyed having you on Crocodile Dock this past week.  And, we extend two special ‘thank-yous.’  First, thanks to Kari Jones for working as Bible School director for planning, organizing and recruiting.  And, thanks to the Pea Ridge Community Church of Philadelphia, MO for sharing stage props and other materials from their Bible School.
A Bicycle Clinic for kids will be at the Pulaski Fire Station Saturday morning from 10 until Noon.  Alan Henderson will do safety checks and minor repairs.  If you’d like be a kid-friendly helper, talk with Alan.      
Meetings Moving: Our Annual Fall Meetings will move to September 20 & 21 with Dave Boshart, pastor of the West Union Mennonite Church of Parnell, IA.  Dave is married to Shana Peachey Boshart, Central Plains Mennonite Conference Youth Minister.  The date change is to help Dave with his travel and ministry schedule.
Calling All Shalom Readers!  We’re looking for stories, posters or skits from your reading books for you to share with us during the worship service on August 16.  Show us your stuff!
Family Life is a big deal!  Today the pastor begins a three-week Bible story series about families with “A Family Fight from the Bible.”  The August 16 message is “Living With Disappointments in Your Family” while the August 23rd message will feature “Eldercare in Your Family.”
AWANA First Night is September 9!  Watch the Bulletin Board and listen for announcements for ways to be a part of this ministry to church and community children.
