Travis Martin of Memphis, MO has recently returned from a European trip with Mennonite Central Committee, following the MCC meat. Travis will have pictures and stories after the potato bar.

The annual Christmas Caroling is Sunday evening December 20. Meet at 5:00 here at the church for song sheets and ‘traveling plans’ for the night.

The Christmas Eve Service is at 6:00 on December 24th featuring kids music specials, Christmas Scripture, ‘Carols Alive’ and candle lighting. Besides readings from Isaiah, Matthew and Luke, we’ll see how two Christmas Carol favorites, Joy to the World and Silent Night came to be.

The Mennonite Central Committee Meat Canner will be at Cantril on Monday and Tuesday, December 21 & 22. Please sign on the bulletin board if you are able to help Monday or Tuesday—or both. Volunteers from our church are encouraged to work the ‘early shift’ beginning at 5:00 AM. Our church is to supply seven gallon of orange juice for workers breakfast. See the sign-up sheet if you’d like to contribute in this way.

A Mitten Tree will warm the hands of Davis County kids! Bring along mittens or gloves for the mitten tree in the church foyer. Thanks!

Scripture Reader Sign-up is on the bulletin board. If you would like to participate in worship leading by reading scripture, sign-up and take a ‘Reader Orientation Sheet’ to prepare for reading. Current readers may elect to continue by signing-up or take a year off by not signing. Thanks to each one participating!
