Welcome! Today we welcome Travis Martin and family and the Mennonite Central Committee Meat Canning Crew. And, we welcome family and friends from ‘afar off’ who are gathering with family for Christmas. May God bless our time together and grant safety in our travels.

Roger Wyse passed away on Wednesday. He is a past member of PMC and a dear friend to church and community. Memorial services will be on December 30 in Wayland, IA. Cards may be sent to Rachel at Silver Pond Assisted Living, 1400 6th Ave. North, Apt #108, Wellman, IA 52536.

The Christmas Eve Service is at 6:00 on Thursday featuring kids music specials, Christmas Scripture, ‘Carols Alive’ and candle lighting. Besides readings from Isaiah, Matthew and Luke, we’ll see how two Christmas Carol favorites, Joy to the World and Silent Night came to be.

The Mennonite Central Committee Meat Canner will be at Cantril on Monday and Tuesday at the Clair Zimmerman farm at 17260 260th St, rural Cantril. Volunteers from PMC are encouraged to work the ‘early shift’ beginning at 5:00 AM. PMC is asked to supply seven gallon of orange juice for breakfast—see the bulletin board to sign-up.

A Mitten Tree will warm the hands of Davis County kids! Bring along mittens or gloves for the mitten tree in the church foyer. Thanks!
